  • Eriq, I understand what ur saying, but working with others in the military is different than being made to work with people you hate. Being in the military is a job, you are a team and at times a family. Not the same for a racist person.

  • that's exactly what i'm saying...i do understand. I still say just the fact that he used the word "punishment" makes it seem like there's something wrong with them. If he doesn't believe that then he should use better word choice.

  • Excuse me...but I do read, think, analyze and then write, do you? I do not judge: EVER. I understand fully what you meant, i was just pointing out that living as another race/nationality/sexuality is not a punishment. that's like saying there's something wrong with them in the first place.

  • dixiedi___ i don't know why you're under the impression that I think you were talking about race relations. If you read what i wrote, I use skin color as a metaphor for sexuality. Sexuality is just as much a regular part of me as skin color is. And hiding something is just like lying about it.
